Spark, does everyone get PMs now?

I've been coming across one Reg User after another with Private Messages enabled in their drop-down menus. I have to go to the Mod CP to see their membership level.

They shouldn't. They should be able to receive from everyone, but not send. Any names?

I just double checked (again) the permissions setup for registered users and they aren't allowed to PM. Are you guys getting PMs from these people?

No, was just curious as to whether they could reply, but not send non-replies.

I think what Esav was referring to is that all RUs now have "Send a Private Message" in their drop down menus. This wasn't the case before, and has just happened in the last week or so, at least for me.

Right. I think everything's working as it should be, just that "Send Private Message" didn't show up on RUs username dropdown menus until recently (at least to us). I think that's what Esav was asking about. So, yeah, I think everything's working correctly now, it just wasn't before.

Oh, and multiple accounts reported.

Look at thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=761365 and check out the drop-down menus to posters #1, 3, and 4. All show "Send a private message to ..."

It's not available to send, just receive, I guess.

Yes, as a supermod you can send private messages to registered users. They just can't respond to them.
