I have a new knifemaker (Bryan Breeden) for my Sparky knives and the second batch is in production now, due to be done in 2-3 weeks. For those of you who haven't seen it before, it is a fixed blade with a 4" cutting edge and a handled firesteel that screws in to the butt end of the knife. I have the preorder up for those of you who have contacted me asking about reserving one for yourself. Of course, it is fully refundable if you change your mind before they are done.

I also have some itty bitty PSK sized knives from Bryan, one that will fit in an Altoid tin and one that is a bit larger.

Here is a video of the original Sparky prototype and a picture of the new one:

Nice knife.....and thanks for the vid. I'm thinking about ordering one. Is there any chance in future runs of using a thicker stock....3/16ths perhaps?

There is going to be a longer version in the coming months that will use a thicker stock, either 3/16" or 1/4". 1/8" just worked best for this size and design.

I will shoot you over an order, and can I add one of your real thick firesteels as well. Breeden does awsome work BTW, I am sure you will be happy.

Sure, they Sparky is over $50, so it gets you free shipping on your entire order. And you are right, Bryan does great work, which is why I went to him. He's a nice guy and is awesome to deal with.

Thanks!

Hello, does the knife come with the 2 little knives for the price or are they separate? Nice size and 1/8 is the right thickness for the length for good slicing ability. Also does the firesteel screw in tightly so that you do not feel any rattling? Very interested, been sitting on the fence over your nicely handled firesteels and your pushing me over the "edge"!!
Regards
Brad

Hi Brad,

The two little knives are separate, but if you buy all three at once, I'll be glad to package them together. :D
