Sparrow Hawk Kills Blackbird !

My dad had taken these pics this morning on his garden in the UK and I just thought you might like to see them as well.
The quality isn't great as they are stills taken from his video camera but it's still a sight you don't get to see everyday !!!

In Britain he is a Sparrow-Hawk. In the U.S. he is a Sharp-shinned hawk. They are very good and very tricky killers. Cool little birds, great pics.

Yeah I was thinking Cooper's as well but I think he is bigger.
The American Kestrel is my favorite BOP to watch. He reminds me of my Dachshund, in that he doesn't seem to know that he's tiny. They are vicious little hunters.:thumbup:
