Spartan Akribis FOLDER

The Spartan folder is a nice knife. I've played with it in ATL and Vegas. Curtis is an awesome Guy. If you ever get a chance to speak with him....do.

The knife is basically a frame lock with the handle scale covering it to give a smoother handle.

It's buttery smooth.

I live in Okinawa and wasn't here during Cutis's tour with the 1st Bn, 1st SFG (A) here. I have chatted with him on email and knew fellow operators who sing praises about the man. I have several of their knives and love em all.......

I just realized my last post (#21) might be confusing to understand since I used "smooth" twice. My bad...by smooth on the hanldle I mean: it's a solid feel, with the lockside in parallel to the non-lock side because it's lockbar is covered by G10 or carbon fiber.

And the buttery smooth is reference to the opening and closing of the knife.

Yes there has been. Look on Spartan Blades website and go to the Akribis folder section and the reviews button is at the bottom.

I believe in you get what you pay for. The expertise and material these guys use is well worth it. They have collaborated with some big names to design this knife to the specs you see. I sure love mine and worth every penny I paid.
