Spartan Blades opinions?

I know I shouldn't keep a dead thread going but... the point, the tippy tip of that knife... is a very cool tippy tip. Super.

Sorry, I meant the Spartan you reprofiled. Very cool lines on that knife that really speak out to me.

Kinda reminds me of a more functional version of the elvish knife given to Aragorn in Fellowship... only even better lines.

Ah, the NYX. Great blade. I edc it regularly. All belly. The Spartan coat is very impressive as well. Stuff comes off on it, not the other way around. Those black marks from the kydex wash right off and the coating is still perfect. Some more pictures for you:

Damn you, Crayrab... Look what you've gone and done... Off to check out the NYX.

Feel free to post more of those anytime.

Do you like the choil?

Oh no you didn't! That is a can of worms. Some people love a finger choil, some hate it. I my self am a finger choil fan so yes I like the choil. It has been winter for so long I have not gotten to actually thump on this knife yet, mostly just breaking down boxes and other EDC things. With the amount of weight in the front combined with the pinky lanyard it feels like it could do some awesome chopping for a knife of this size. And it is not off balance because of the length of handle. With the finger choil you can choke up for the finer tasks. It did need a reprofile though because with the angle as it was the slicing was not so good. Honestly though, the look is what I really love.

Damn you, Crayrab... Look what you've gone and done... Off to check out the NYX.

Careful, they are expensive and once you get one they multiply. I'm going to get the Pallas next. Button lock flipper with functional thumb studs.
