Spartan harsey 3.25.

Honestly, I see the Ti on steel lock interface as one of the positives to the SHF. I'm not exactly sure why. I think it's because that's the way Ti framelocks were done all throughout their history until, what like the 2012-15 time frame or so? Like abbazaba abbazaba says, it's definitely a proven design. Without experience you'd think that the softer Ti would be malleable enough to very slowly deform over time and move the lockup further and further along, however I've never had a Ti lockbar travel further than once it get's situated in the first day or two, unless you really put it through some abuse like batoning. But yea, I like it, and I like the SHF in general. 👍

Yep, I have complete confidence in the interface, the only knife I have ever seen any wear on the Ti bar was an old DPX triple black that I carried for years, and even that was barely noticeable and in no way impacted the function of the lock. I'm a huge fan of the SHF in general so take my words with a grain of salt. 😊

The new 3.5 is breaking in nicely. I asked Spartan about the stiffness of my new knife, I was told "the knife warrantied for life. If you ever want or need to send it in to the shop for a tune up we normally have a one business day turnaround time on warranty/spa treatments. For your warranty repair if you let us know what you spend in total for shipping we will reimburse your cost." a knife I like a warranty, and CS like that. What is not to like.

Wow, now that's an honorable way of doing customer service! I've never used their services, but it sure is nice knowing they do that.

I've been in touch with their CS, and the experience was great, responses were prompt, and they ended up sending me a show side scale for free. That's how I ended up with my two tone SHF shown above (the PVD is stonewash on the lock side)
