spartan harsey full size pj vs zt0452ti?

If you like the Benchmade 710. You will love the Spartan Harsey. It's heavier but feels better in hand and thumb stud works better then the 710. It's very easy to take apart and clean. Can't say that for the Benchmade unless your just removing the blade and washers. The blade shapes are almost identical. You will get use to the jimping on the Harsey which can feel a little sharp but I got to say it doesn't seem to bother me like when I first got it.check out eBay. You can get good deals from Spartan dealers.View attachment 2524438View attachment 2524438
I love the Axis lock but man assembling Axis lock folders is definitely a pain in the behind. I agree the spartan ergo is better than BM710. Jimpings are not an issue to me (I am used to Hinderer jimpings).

I got the spartan. Just want to say I agree to everything said in this post. It's a cool folder. I think I'll play with it a bit to decide if I'll get a graphic one ( DLT has more upcoming with magnacut steel).

By the way, where did you get that 0452 cf scale? Looks it's contoured?
I love all of mine. They are beasts of knives.

The 0452cf was my main folder for years, I gifted several of them to guys on the forum and friends. They are like a lighter shf kind of, not quite as heavy duty but plenty strong. I love both but I think I'm stuck on the shf for now.

Having the SHF Large first in S35VN what I can say is it is a heavy knife... Having gotten the 0452CF I found it is just as robust, (almost), and much lighter for EDC.

No experience with the SHF but I’ve carried a zt0452cf in my back pocket everyday for close to 2 years now and don’t have a single complaint. It’s my exclusive daily carry besides a small SAK on my keys. It carries fantastically for a knife that large, it seems to disappear in the pocket. For anyone considered about its strength, I’ve beat the crap out of the knife and with minimal wear.

Example of gross misuse: Like an idiot I was in a rush the other day and locked my keys in my truck. All of my proper tools were locked inside said truck so all I had was what I had in my pockets and what I could find. I used my ZT to pry the door enough to get a coat hanger in there to unlock the door.

That knife has been misused, abused, and still flicks open every time I have yet to break the tip or chip the edge. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Yea, the ZT0452 is one of my favorites, I have two 😂 a CF and a redCF blackwash version. I've been thinking of tracking down a G10 version 😋

An 0640 is going to be a closer ZT companion to an SHF, with thumb disk deployment and washers (and superb action). Might as well have both. ;)
