I got an email about a week or two ago from Spartan. He was asking me about a custom knife. It was a question of value, as he was not going to ask without the required gold membership. He bought himself a membership, and then proceeded to respect the rules in place. Long story short, he had a knife I was wanting, but was unavailable for some time. I figured I'd ask if he would hold it for me until I had all the money, and he had no problem doing so.
I sent him half the asking price as a good faith payment, and to my surprise he just went ahead and shipped the knife out to me, well packaged, and fully insured. He didn't have to do that, and some folks have regretted being so trusting as the other person ended up scamming. But, I ended up sending the other half of the money and he got it.
In the end, I got a cool knife I wanted and he got some cash he needed to get his next steel fix, lol. Spartan00 is a hell of a good guy and I would not hesitate one bit in dealing with him. There is an unspoken trust there and I respect people that put their trust in me. It's important to me to not flake on people. Thanks again for the super fast shipping and the good deal on the knife. :thumbup:
