I am in Klamath Falls now.

About 400 yards from the Lake at the southeast corner.

I spent a couple of years out near Sprague River three miles from the mailbox and a couple miles off of the pavement out in the Woods.

After one of the tougher Winters in the last ten years or so, My Wife said "No More" so we moved back into town.

I was told shortly after we moved here that Oregon was an old indin word meaning "Poverty with a View" and they did not lie.

poverty with a view, most definetly.... but the view is worth it.

the year before we moved we hiked Klamath, that was truly a beautiful place. living there must feel like a blessing.

was that "tough winter' the one of 2004? I remember that was particularly brutal.

When we moved I made momma promise me that someday we would move back. I really miss it.

Winter 2007/2008 Snow on the ground from November to April.

Three to four feet deep in the flat areas twice for about a month at a time.

-7F at the trailer,-11 at the gate and minus 14 in Sprague River

Vines Carry Ticks.

You Whack the Vine then Swing on the Vine?

Reminds me of the scene in Jaws where the Captain is talking to The Little Guy about that Shark cage.

You go into the cage?

The cage goes into the water?

Sharks in the Water?

Then He starts Singing, mocking the Scientist.
