Here's an NLT Dirk Jerry Fisk just finished for his sixth Micro Show next month.
Not many Unicorns left these days. ;) :)

Don Hanson and Pete Crowl will be attending makers this year.

Wow. That is a VERY beautiful knife.

Kind regards,

Jos

That's actually the first time I've ever seen "horn on the skull" it's not legal to sell them that way in Alaska.:D:D

I just want to know where Jerry found the virgin to help him catch that unicorn.

The twist on that ivory, I mean, unicorn, is just sublime. As is the entire knife.

WOW!!! That clearly shows why Jerry is the greatest all around bladesmith who ever lived (IMO, 'natch). So many elements of "difficult if not impossible for most smiths to do" combined PERFECTLY into one package! I don't know what ungodly sum that's likely to fetch, but if I had it, I'd probably pay it!

An outstanding work of Fuctional Art.
A tremendous amount of precision hand carving/filing between the fluting of the ivory and the shaping of the ball.

This Unicorn handle recalls the great Viking scam which lasted for 600
years, where the Norsemen traded an iron nail to the Inuit Indians for
a narwhal tusk that they then took to Europe and sold as a Unicorn horn
for the equivalent of $1,000,000....

I wonder, Jerry, if there will even one collector who can afford
this amazing knife of yours...

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

You guys are killing me. I wish I made plans for this show. Being broke is a bitch! (I spend everything on knives!)

Thats some nice unicorn, but you should see my window frame folder with fossilized faerie wing insets. Its more active then pearl!
