Stabbing In Kedumim, and Other War News (A7.ORG)
"An Arab terrorist from a northern Shomron village stabbed a Jewish man this morning at the Kedumim gas station, west of Shechem in Samaria. First to respond was a station worker who succeeded only partially in pushing the terrorist away. The target of the attack, a dentist from Shavei Shomron, was able to draw his personal weapon and shoot the terrorist, who was then shot to death by alert IDF reserve soldiers. One of the soldiers who arrived at the scene soon learned that it was his father who was stabbed. The man sustained light injuries and was transported to a hospital in Petach Tikvah."

On a personal note, my interest in knives stems back to 1993-94
when I would receive a monthy report of terror victims/casualties
post-Oslo, and I noticed that the fatality rate was much higher for knife attacks then it was for shooting/bombing (pre-suicide era)attacks. Interesting how a seemingly 'low-tech' implement can cause so much damage, or for that matter, save a life which is threatened.
