My new Forester by DPK. Just got it today. 4 1/2 inch blade, olive green Mycarta handles with Kydex Sheath. This one is slightly convexed and really sharp with a good even edge. I wanted this one for quite a while. I saw the first one he posted and was sold. Great knife Doug, very nice work. Can't wait for spring, the snow is to deep to find wood to craft:mad:

I like it! Great shape and I'm always a sucker for green canvas mircata! Lets see some curls!

Nice fat handle. Looks great! I would use the hell out of that knife!!

The nice thing is that Doug doesn't live too far from me and once I get a bit of free time, I'm headed down to his shop.

Is it 1095?

But not when the wife is home!!!! Looks great, I really like those micarta handles, they look very comfortable!

I only have one GOOD arm now, I better not try the furniture thing. I did cut up a tomato and a onion though. I have a bunch of walking sticks waiting to be worked on if it warms up in the garage a little. We have had way to much 20-30 below zero this winter.

Great choice Jim. ;)

I hear ya Jim. LOL also you can keep that cold weather to. LOL every time I watch the news and they show the weather up there in you area I shiver LOL

take care and chat with you later,

Bryan

Rotte. Like that Sheath did you make it?

sicily. Yeah it always cold up here in the winter but this one has been a bit worse. We had about three weeks that it didn't even get close to zero, on the under side that is.

I like the little guard on that knife, not big enough to get in the way but does the job anyway. Nice touch.IMO . Of course real men don't need guards.:D

Jim Thanks for your I believe it is the 8th purchase of my knives. Thanks for the compliments and all your support. Doug
