Thanks Bob Rufus1949 Rufus1949 It's actually led a hard life being used a great deal in its early years and forcing, polishing off patina etc. Great W&T on this one and the Stag is smoother type but with a Mammoth like aspect. Think I'd prefer it single blade, have a Stag 85 single but it's EO and I think it's a pity as you lose a nice bit of Stag. Well, there's always something about most knives....but sometimes not :D:cool:

certainly looking that way for now. it may not qualify as the frame donor i intended it to be. cleaned some of the rust spot out of the blade well but still bothers me. guess the cocobolo got me after all eh waynorth waynorth
I'm guessing you are going to keep it as-is??!! :rolleyes:
 
yes its going in the pocket! ive just spent about an hour trying to sand off the rust spots. the other spears got a lot of sentimental value, would hate to lose that. It was a father and son project to get those crosses set in.
Very nice!! I've always liked how the cross is placed!!
