Thanks Bob Rufus1949 It's actually led a hard life being used a great deal in its early years and forcing, polishing off patina etc. Great W&T on this one and the Stag is smoother type but with a Mammoth like aspect. Think I'd prefer it single blade, have a Stag 85 single but it's EO and I think it's a pity as you lose a nice bit of Stag. Well, there's always something about most knives....but sometimes not

yes its going in the pocket! ive just spent about an hour trying to sand off the rust spots. the other spears got a lot of sentimental value, would hate to lose that. It was a father and son project to get those crosses set in.

Think this one counts...but it could a Spear/Leaf hybrid probably a word for it in French, perhaps Sauge??

By chance I own the very same knife you have .

This bladetype is called "Bourbonnaise"
