Spear-Carriers!

rddp rddp Very fine Oldy on the left, can you tell us a bit more about it please?

Thanks, Will
Hi Will, it’s definitely an oldie. Boker tree Brand with a main blade that snaps like an alligator, and the pen blade is lazy. The tang print is there but faint. I’m a sucker for the teardrop spear blade combination. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving if you celebrate it.

rddp rddp Thanks for the info Richard, and yes it's a grand old Teardrop, well worn bone very nicely.

No Thanks G here, but Independence Day is 6th December, not the best month though 🤣

Suffering from a nasty head cold for the last few days... Why do I always get ill on my few precious vacations ?! Spent my time making this pocket sleeve surrounded by hills of used tissues and paper towels. A nice surprise that I received this old Ulster Barlow with bone scales ( pre 1940 ? ). Restored by a nice guy named Scott who loves old knives like all of us.

Time out...
First, I hope you recover quickly.
Second, a very nice barlow, but not a spear point.
