Spear point blades

Coming from the preferences of my granddaddy I have come to almost always favor the clip point or sheep's foot blade shapes. However, over the past few months all I want are spear point blades! I find they can do just about anything and just look cool. I have several now since joining the forum (maybe you all influenced me!);)I recently purchased a Schatt and Morgan KY Shiner with a nice wide spear point, a Randall 10-3 spear point, GEC #79, and a few others. Lets see your spear points and I'd like to hear what you like to use them for.

I also like the spear blade but prefer it to have a swedge, just looks right to me. This Crucible and Boker have spear blades with the look I like.

Love those #79's you have. That two-blade 79 is a great knife. I had one in blood red bone and it was just beautiful.

On vintage knives I try to find ones that are symmetrical near the point, but a lot are worn down due to sharpening.
Here's an old Winchester dog leg:

Great looking Dogleg, Mike. I love the jigging on that bone and don't think I've seen that before. It swirls neat the end cap like a finger print. The shape of that spear reminds me of Charlie's HJ2--I love mine.

STUNNING photo of the handle on that knife!! It really seems to glow. 👍

This is one of my favorite spearpoint blades. It comes from Charlie's HJ2. It's a very slim and aggressive slicer. Not a great shot of the blade, but the only one I have at the moment.

Here's another spearpoint I love. Normally I like pointier blades, but this big, fat balloon spearpoint really speaks to me!
