Spearpoint Personal Carry

That came out really well. I think you have a winner there.

Karl it is very nice it is just the right size to carry and the blade looks like it would work well if you needed to peel the hide off one of your critters.

Thanks Karl!, i
appreciate the explanations.

Also wanted to compliment you, i just had a look at your website. Excellent layout & content is superb!

A super functional design Karl. Not surprised you want to add to your regular fare.

Really like the point/clip, really worked out well.

David, I don't think the advantages/disadvantages of a take down really has much to do with size. There's quite a few advantages regardless. One that I have never heard mentioned is that you can pack your handle with your carry-on and blade in your checked luggage.
Not as much chance that a baggage handler or inspector would take a knife blade.

- wanted to also say, as side note, the design reminds me something of a few Terry Primos knives i've seen. He is out of business i guess..
David

Yep, Terry Primos was the inspiration for the blade. Les Robertson also sold a similar knife, but it, like the Primos knives, had a double guard that I don't favor. I really like this blade shape and have had two other makers use this blade shape with their own handles. Karl's is a little smaller than the two predecessors.

Thanks Karl and to those others who commented favorably on my knife taste.
