Spears

If we ASSume that a spear is a knife on a stick, and it is legal to hunt pigs with a knife(in some places), then why shouldn't it be legal to hunt with a spear?

Seems to me that a spear might also be considered a great big super effective arrow.

Who makes decent, affordable spears? Sounds like Cold Steel didn't quite get them right.
 
All these arguments over 'legal/moral' make my head hurt !

Maybe he's a meat hunter not a sport hunter.
A lot of the world still hunts with spears...and if it comes to
feeding your family 'legal/illegal' is irrelevant.
