Spec-Ops T.H.E. Wallet...HUGE!

I just got the latest Brigade Quartermasters catalog, and they seem to carry the whole Spec-Ops line, including "T.H.E. Wallet".

The only problem I have with it is I recently broke myself of the habit of carrying the contents of my file cabinet in my back pocket :) Now I carry a wallet small enough for a shirt pocket, and I don't need T.H.E. Wallet-size wallets anymore. But Spec-Ops makes great gear.

Could one of you measure your wallet and let me know the dimensions? It looks intriguing, but I want to make sure I can fit it in my 501's.

Its 5 3/4" X 4 3/4" and about 1/2" thick, will get thicker just dont have much in it at the moment.

I wear Levi 550's, and I think that the back pocket is the same size as those on the 501's, and my "T.H.E. Wallet" fits just fine, even with a bunch of "stuff" loaded into my "T.H.E. Wallet".
 
I got a great little rayskin wallet last year and at 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 I think I could fit it inside T.H.E. Wallet. Like the rest of the Spec-Ops line, it sounds like it was made for cargo pants and BDUs.

Well, I just sent off to Brigade QM for my semi-annual shipment of toys, so I asked them to send me one of those back-pocket filing cabinets. We shall see ... A T.H.E.W for my thigh.

Of course, if you ever get mugged while carrying one fully loaded, when you go to hand it to the mugger, drop it on his foot. While he's bent over in agony from the broken bones, kick him somewhere :D
 
Hey, another cool aspect of this "T.H.E. wallet" that I just now thought of is that due to the fact that it does fit in the back pocket rather snugly (wall-to-wall, so to speak), that it would be fairly difficult for a pick-pocket to easily snatch it away, and also the fact that it's made out of a cordura nylon material (that isn't as slick as leather) also makes it alittle more secure in the pocket.
 
My question would be how well does it protect your credit cards? I always get cracks in my cards where the card is unprotected from the slot it fits into. I've been looking for something that will correct this defect, but never have found it. I think I have a source for this wallet locally, may have to take a drive to the surplus store for a look see.

I have never had cracking problems with my credit cards, but because of the size of "T.H.E. Wallet", the plastic cards are spread-out alittle better than most wallets, so I would think that "cracking" shouldn't be much of a problem.
 
That's not a wallet!!! That's a back pack!!! I just had to order one...damn you bladeforums!!!!! This is why I stay out of the customs forums :D :D :D Seriously though, this wallet looks like the male answer to the purse! Not that I would ever carry a purse or anything

You COULD carry your purse in "T.H.E. Wallet", and no-one would know.:D.:D.
 
Here I sit waiting patiently for my T.H.E. Wallet to arrive (the black model). Sounds very cool....

The one that I have IS the black model, and I KNOW that you are going to say WOW (probably out-loud) when you get yours. Two things that I've recently received has made me say WOW...My "T.H.E. Wallet", and my SOG Trident knife, (And now I have ANOTHER SOG Trident "on the way" from a trade I made today...).:).

Give 'em 'till Wednesday early afternoon to get back with you. I'm not sure, but I think they might be a fairly small operation, and they are probably pretty busy filling orders.
 
I just got my THE Wallet and I'm very impressed. As Dann mentioned, it's friggin' huge, but not as big as I expected. I stuffed all of my junk from my old wallet into it and it fits into my back pocket very comfortably. Surprisingly THE Wallet is very thin even with lots of crap in it.
