Does anyone here have Ontarios Spec Plus Fighting Knive? I was wondering about the over all quality and feel of the knife. And how is the 1095 steel it's made out of? Can it take and hold an edge very well? Thanks in advance for any and all help you can give me.

These are great knives for the money. You should be able to find numerous posts and reviews of these knives here in the forums. Use the search function. I have owned several of these in the past. The only thing I don't like about them is the feel of the handle. I far prefer the feel of the Cold Steel and Fallkniven handles. The material used in the Spec Plus line isn't grippy enough. I really believe that if Ontario modified the handles to be more like those on the above mentioned knives they could double their sales.
