I finally modified SpecSpeedBump - remove S-curve and add choil (little bigger then I planed). Now both my SpecBumps are fully functional and hair whittling sharp. Here you may see full size picture with zoom lens - to see hairs as a proof of sharpness:

I love this knives - look, lock, ergo, blade shape - everything just beautiful! Iinitially I remember Thomas sad that Kershaw will be using this model to try different steels etc (actually before Sal started his Mule project), but this never really was executed... I guess manufacturing part of Kershow resist to make this hi-tech device to much and finally won.

But I really enjoy what I have already.

Thanks, Vassili.

Those are quite ugly.....hope they get used....

I think they are quite beautiful. However it is up to personal preferences.

But for sure this blade shape very useful for small projects and EDC - to cut something on the table - no other blade can do it as good this one, no question about this. And handle shape fit closed feast just perfect - excellent grip. Lock is best from what is available now on the market, so I just like them only for this excellent design decisions.

Thanks, Vassili.

If they're usable to you, then great--nothing like a perfect knife for the job. I love my spec bump from its monster recurve to the nice long edge to the tip-- just wish the pocket clip could be moved more places. Studlock is awesome too. I modded the pocket clip on mine a little--the bottom point of the clip kept snagging on clothing and nearly lifted the knife out multiple times. So I bent the bottom portion to where it's relatively parallel to the G-10 scale. No more lifty.

To each his own, I'm happy you have something you can enjoy, it's truely a rare day when you find "the knife"

The first one is a bit messy, but the second one looks better IMO. And hey, what's wrong with how they look? They still have good steel, ergos, lock, and a great edge. It might hurt the resell value, but I'm all for it.

Hey, it's intended as a user, not a collection piece! If it means that the owner uses it more, a knife mod is worth it. ;)
