I bought this from Chris Linton (Osprey Knife & Tool), a full time knife maker with Fiddleback Forge (FF). FF allows a few of their employees to post their own creations on FF Fridays. IMHO, Chris' knives are superior in both blade material and overall design to the FF offerings, although I am a fan of FF knives as well. I am in the early stages of having Chris make a knife to my specs, so I'm letting this one go for $40 less than I paid for it on 8/14/2015. I'll paste the link to that original sales post below, as well as a few of my own pics of the knife. Please do check out its original post though, I believe there are three pics of the knife there, and the pics are professionally done & do a great job of showing the actual color & depth of the complex scales. This has never been carried or sharpened or used in any way, this is for the knife only, as it was sold by Chris/Osprey K&T without a sheath, though it'll fit nicely into pretty much any like-sized leather sheath you've got - this is without a close second the best in-hand "feeling" knife I've ever owned....the highly contoured scales are just perfectly executed. And the CPM 154CM blade is light saber sharp. This knife is a rare 10/10 in both looks & performance. The knife is 7 1/2" OAL with a 3 1/2" blade - perfect EDC size.

"Warthog EDC w/ nat. canvas bolsters over spalted Maple burl, mosaic pins, SFT Tang, full height flat ground on 5/32” CPM 154 - $235" This caption is taken directly from the FF Friday post in which I purchased this knife for $235 in August...it was a bargain then, it's a steal now at only $195...honestly the only reason I'm selling at $195 is that I know I'll have a much wider audience at this price point, and $40 isn't going to affect my life all that much.

I'm selling this knife for $195. This price includes CONUS shipping & Paypal fees. My Paypal is scotts@reeve-knight.com.

It's a cliché on BF, but this is one of those cases in which I just don't know how to better say it...Pictures just cannot do this masterwork justice. I mean the pics are very nice and they show a stunning knife, but whoever buys this is going to be high-fiving themselves for an hour straight...this knife shines in hand, both in feel and pure aesthetics.

Price drop to $185 - I won't go any lower than that and I'll just pull & keep if she doesn't sell - thanks guys!

This Was a Great Sales Thread and a Awesome right up on my Warthog EDC. I understand It sold?
VanDammet I really like how descriptive you were on the subtleties of my work. I take great pride in my fit and finish and the overall ergonomics of the knife. I have a High Standard for my work and take extra time to ensure each and every knife I make is the best I can make at that time. Thank you for sharing your expertise and opinion on the Knife.

Hey Chris, I'm glad you liked what I wrote...writing is a hobby/love of mine, so it's cool to hear that. This is Scott Sherman btw...I know it can be difficult to tell sometimes, with all of the fake names we use here in BF land. Yes, this did sell, and for the full $235! I got smart and realized I was showing this to the wrong audience...realized that FF's subforum has it's own exchange. I had the knife sold in exactly 15 minutes after posting! And the guy already has one of your Warthog Hunters, so I feel like it went to the right guy. So ya, just hit me up when you're ready to build the Apache EDC we've discussed a bit via email...that's gonna be my personal "Grail"...I kind of hate that term, another cliché...but again, I can't think of a better way to describe it. Keep up the great work bro!
