If you were to improve on Cold Steel's Special Forces Shovel, what features would you change/want??

take the swell off the end of the handle

I'd like to see the handles made out of a composite. I've broken about half a dozen wooden handles in the last year or so.

the rear edge where you put your foot while digging should be turned up, not down. And it would be nice if it came with a nice sheath as well.

If you were to improve on Cold Steel's Special Forces Shovel, what features would you change/want??

Easy--turn the foot steps FORWARD, and close the back--probably by welding a bent tubing neck to the face of the blade.
