Special Groundhog Concerned Fiddleback Friday

WOW!! Nice batch as always Andy, but that Arete is stunning in that combination! I love the light bolster/dark scales and those pins really set it off. Something like that is definitely on the list off needs now. That natural over natural with orange pin stripe looks great on that Ladyfinger, and I really like the look of the large pins in that Tuxedo Config Kaphart!

Andy, I'll take the black canvas Karda.

2013 0201 001 – Karda, Black Canvas, Tapered tang, Convex on 1/8” thick steel - $175

Nice score! After the Bushboot from last week, and talking to Andy over the last couple of days, the Karda just moved way up on my list of needed Fiddlebacks!

THANK YOU IcyBlueSmile -- that one REALLY tempted me. I like the hollow pins and the matte scales.

Andy - another stunner of a batch -- I really like the bolstered scales on several of the knives, especially the Arete.

You would have had a nice Yen Yang set of Kardas :)

I'll take the KPH! I've been lurking for weeks and this is exactly what I've been waiting for.

Thanks, Paypal incoming.

The African Blackwood and green pin stripe is a really nice combination!

I'll take 2013 0201 04 – Hiking Buddy, Honduran Rosewood over black with a white pinstripe, Scandi on 1/8” thick steel - $225

Would love to see some larger pics and close-ups of that Honduran Rosewood handle later if you get a chance. I have been looking at it a lot lately and wondering how it looks as it ages.

Thanks!

No, but its not a skinney one either.

I'll take the 2013 0201 12 – Kephart, Osage over natural canvas.

Good. I want to keep that one pretty bad. That piece of Osage is above and beyond. Thank you.

Ill take the kephart gem quality maple Andy, beautiful knife

You got it Rega. Thhanks!

I'll take the Bushfinger w/ black canvas and kirinite pommels. Been wanting a Bushfinger and have a heck'uva thought on a sheath for this one.

That's definitely an interesting look, I'm sure a complimentary sheath will have to be just as interesting. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

I so hope to own one of your knives one day Andy you are truely an excellent craftsman who makes one heck of a nice tool.

You got it Rick! THANKS!!!

Great batch this week, there's some very unique looking stuff in this one. I like it all! My favorite has to be the Honduran Rosewood: I've wanted a guitar made of that stuff for many years. Turns out it makes gorgeous handle scales too! Great stuff Fiddleback. Congrats to everyone lucky enough to grab one of these great knives.

Well now, that's a pretty exciting statement haha. Rick you do some killer work and I'll freely admit that I'm very keen to see what you've got in mind for that knife! Enjoy that Bushfinger!

Hey Andy, You're going to kill me but I can't stop looking at that Arete. So if you don't mind I would like to switch my order from from the 2013 0201 12 – Kephart, Osage over natural canvas to the 2013 0201 05 – Arete, Wenge scales with natural canvas bolsters. I wish I could afford both. If it is no trouble I would like the Knife sent to Rick, he will need it to make the sheath I want. Rick, clients come first so yours will have to wait!

Terrific batch this week! I'm quite impressed w/ the 3 finger Karda, KPH, Curly Maple Kephart, and the Arete!

Chapel-I have an Arete pattern, but I think I know why I'll need this one to do your sheath. It'll be fun to do and fun to show!:D

I'm glad someone bought the arete, it was killing me. I hope we see more of that kind in future - I spent so long looking at it on my iPad without moving that my wife asked if I was looking at something naughty! The wide pins, the bolsters...wow! Great stuff!

Just out of curiosity , if something doesn't sell this week, is it offered in next weeks batch? Is there another website that they are offered on? I'm loving the Ladyfinger this week, but I'm also looking forward to next weeks offerings.....just wondering how it works. tax returns aren't in the bank account yet, but they are coming soon and I've already "spent" 3 times what I'm getting back...kind of waiting for a burlap ladyfinger, orange liners, tapered tang, 1/8 convex grind.....but the current one would fit well in the woods also
