No luck, "all gone", but for the best. You only need one Bilton if it's a good one, and I've already got two good ones. One's a dadgum mutant of a Bilton, made at Bir Ghorkha. It's a half inch longer than usual, and everything about it's size is plussed up proportionate to the added length, a regular old "Texas Model Bilton" you might say. The other was sent to me by a fellow forumite, and is from the original first batch made by a village kami passing through Bir Ghorka. It's handle is done in very nice rosewood, and when I lemon juice etched the blade, it's temper line stood out like the hamon on a katana. No joke, it's a quarter inch wide on the right side of the blade, 3/16" on the other, and runs the full length of the cutting edge. Crazy.
Ain't got a Bilton yet? Where you going to find a hand forged, differentially hardened, just plain cool, knife for 35 bucks? You could buy a set of six and use 'em as steak knives, and still pay less than what I see fellers asking for "custom" knives at gun shows. Me like the little boogers? How'd you guess?
