These look really cool. I'm thinking about getting a set for a general outdoors utility/camping/hiking knife. I know they are called "steak knives" but does anyone carry them for other purposes?

Did a lot of skinning during deer season with a steak knife. The Elmax performed flawlessly.

No I didnt use one of those during deer season but didnt need it cause I had a steak knife with me.

Cut up some fresh salmon and tuna today for some sushi with the 4" version. Able to cut nice thin strips with ease.
