Probably not a good idea to ask them to work with micarta. That dust is toxic. I know, so is wood dust, but it's not as bad as micarta. And if we can't convince them to wear eye protection I doubt they'll wear respirators.
Bro as much as some of us like Micarta we have steered clear of it in Nepal because of the potential toxicity of the material, but using it for slabs Shouldn't be that much of a risk should it??
Even though the kamis are exposed to a quadzillion different kinds of and more germs than we are it may be that Micarta and similar goods might be more toxic to them than the average American simply because we're used to being around more chemicals.
But I'm thinking Ironwood is also a potential toxic material but I'm not remembering too well about it, correct me if I'm wrong please.
