Special Order Uddha Sword

Hello credit card! I'm in this race too. I'll leave it to one of you guys if the wife uses it on me when she finds out.

I'll be in that race, too. True, I already have an Uddha Sword, but I only have one.

However, I doubt this one will be up for sale. Based on Karda's original post, the person who special-ordered it just got it, and the photo is posted so we can enjoy it. Still, hope springs eternal.

If Yangdu reads this, you have my vote to put a guard like that on all the Uddha Swords in the future. It is an improvement on a good design, and based on Berkley's posting the guard would not be a departure from past tradition.

yeah seems like a run of khyber blades /uddha swords would be met with success , 5 of us ready to jump on one right now, I would love to see pretty much any blade under the kami, like those i posted in the hasiya thread the parong and the acceh, love the variety of blades that you find in the archipeligo nations( sumatra is in that right?)

I think I recall some occasions when the kamis made several examples of a special order, and Yangdu put them up as a DOTD shortly after shipping out the special order. So be on the lookout...
 
That would make perfect sense. Probably nice to make a few while the idea is fresh in your head.
 
from what I understand all the skill comes in the hardening right? does that change with different blade shapes? ( to anyone who messes with forging) , it does make perfect sense to make several attempts especially at a blade you dont do much.

I think it would be better to get her her very own from the get go. Something specially for her. I do have a nice bone handled Bashpati that might look good on her.

I shall ponder this some. So far she's kept me 29 years the 22nd of this month and 13 years engaged before that. An we never lived together in sin. Don't see that much now days.
 
wow man, much respect for love like that, I hope you guys have nothing but halcyon days ! I think a fine small knife is a great gift for a responsible woman of strength in any man's life.

yeah I have been researching khyber bowies too since seeing this, its a very cool design.
 
That sword is really nice! Gonna have to fend off some sharks, if an Uddha ever comes up on DOTD.
 
hello! I am the fella that ordered this knife. its 24 inches long. the fit and finish are outstanding. it was intended to follow the lines of a Khyber knife. the guard to handle angle is so smooth and well fitted that it feels "soft". very nice.
