Special sheath for the 110?

Triangle mountains logo is embossed in the flap. Sheath is really nice looking with a distressed streak look.
No cat numbers other than a barcode number. Does talk about Edge 2000 blade. Naturally no date on clammie.

So maybe 2000 - 2001 ?

If I were guessing that would also be my conclusion. I can't find any thing about it in either the catalogs or the price lists. I'm wondering if it might be a Special Projects set put together for some retailer? They don't show up in the regular catalogs or price lists.

Update: I wasn't able to find it in the Special Projects list either.

I tried looking a few years ago as well.... Same results. I didn't know the time frame on the logo tho,,,thanks.

Scott, I have carried those horizontal as well. And the cordura one. They do carry easy!

"1- The shown sheath with the 110 looks like the sheath for the 531, but is a few larger. Ergo the two sheath are not the same.
2- The "foldover" sheath for the 110 was seen around 1990 the first time
3- The sheath comes primarily with knives from the custom shop.
4- Buck sold a batch of 110s to a large German outdoor shop together with the foldover sheath, just like a build out."

OOPs, I just realized I had a typo in my post (#18) regarding the conclusions (above) from Haebbie's post #15. I said I didn't think #4 was correct, when I actually meant #3. Sorry about that.:o:o

Doesn't matter, Plum, I got that you meant the other top ;-)).

Well guys, great infos. I think, now I'm alble to answer the questions above -
