i saw the thread a while back to win a sog proto knife. i wrote up my essay,then discovered that i couldnt win because i am not yet 18. i got an e-mail from Ron, explaining this and apologizing. no hard feelings on my part,as i understand the liability that some companies face by selling to minors.

and today i recieved another e-mail from ron telling me that i am getting a SOG hat!
thanks ron,and everyone at sog. you guys are truly great.

I'm sorry you didn't qualify for the contest Maurice. It's a tough break, but look at the bright side, you'll live a lot longer than us old geezers and therefore have a better chance of winning some time in the future!

(Small comfort I know, but it's the best I can think of.)
