Hello. I have been surching for about 2 weeks straight now, Cant find one and really would like to find a place that seels them. I think there discontiued? I dont know but i sure do like'em.Any help would be awesome. THanks Phil

I'm familiar with the spec plus line, but not the khukuri. I have one of their SpAx' (pre hole cut out as usable wrench), and it's pretty good, but the rubbery grip is hard on the hands.

I know several other manufacturers make a khuk variation that are quite serviceable. While not a "real" khukuri, they do a pretty good job of chopping.

Upon doing a google search for "Spec Plus Kukri" I found several sites that have them listed ranging from around 58-70ish dollars. They are indeed labeled DISCONTINUED and none of the sites have any indication as to whether or not they have any extra in stock. You might have email them to find out. Unless you are dead set on this model, for about the same money you can get one of the other brands or even a "real deal" khuk.

Good luck:)

Well, they first came out about ten years ago. The first time I saw them was in Brigade Quartermaster's catalog in mid-1998.

I bought one and wasn't pleased with the lack of quality control: It had a very poor edge grind.
