And if there are, as you claim, only four of these, then how much response are you expecting? Odd.
 
That's a good one. I don't even know were you buy titanium coating much less how to properly put it on a knife blade.
 
The blade was not gold ti-ni coated, which wouldn't matter anyway, because the actual cutting edge wouldn't be coated. If you feel it is a quality peice, more power to you. Get out and use it. My opinion is just that, an opinion. I do however think that there were more than 4 of the coated pre-production blades made, regardless of the letter from ebay. You could always call fiskas and ask, since they own Gerber now. They may even send you some free sissors.

Holy smokes, let the moderators do their job, they do a very good job of it around here. You responding 6 times to this thread with no power to do anything is far different than a moderator asking one question, forming an opinion and taking action. If you see an issue, report it.

Pretty sure he was being facetious jc. My point is badgering you about your motives is useless and there are people here that are assigned those duties. If you are trying to sell your knife, then he has every right to call you out on it. But you should be given the benefit of the doubt, if you are simply looking for people that have further information about the knife, and if a moderator thinks otherwise they are the best people to make that decision. Glad you guys are working it out behind the scenes, maybe he is also a gerber fan. ;)
 
No sir I was not it is good advice and some of the mods on this forum are power hungry and I filed a compliant but nothing happened.

I think he meant marcinek. That's just marci being marci. He see's something and he questions until he understands. That's what discussion threads are about.

Power hungry? There's only so much power to be had in the land of BladeForums and it's held exclusively by Spark. I don't really see a coup coming to fruition.
 
Spark I don't have problem with it's Bastid another mod. So that's why mercinek kept coming back and posting.
 
I can't speak for marcinek, I've just seen him around and have a very slim understanding of how he operates. Most times it's quite entertaining. Head to W&C for a more comprehensive assessment.;)

So a thread got closed. Big deal. Live, learn and move on. I am.
