i forgot to add that he LOVES the speedtech. i'm hoping he'll write a review of it...he also has a small sebenza, so he can make a nice comparison.
actually, since the speedtech arrived, he's been carrying BOTH and he's a very happy camper!
i like the lines of the speedtech, and the smooth, easy operation. for me, a sebenza is a bit tough to open one-handed, and harder to close. no problem with the speedtech. the lock on the speedtech is rock solid, as is the sebbie. handle of the speedtech is unlike anything i've seen on a non-custom knife: it is so well shaped to the hand that it's a very comfortable knife to hold. i got him the swept point blade, and it's just lovely, and shhhhharrrrrppp. the clip grips well, but not TOO well, and the unusual shape of it seems to help it be easier on pocket fabric.
plus his is GREEN, and folks, most of the scans i have seen just do not do these colours justice! this green is a vibrant green that makes it really stand out from all the black.
ok, so there's my mini-review. . .his will be a million times better since the dang thing hasn't left his hand for more than shower-time and occasional rest periods...
both the sebbie and the speedtech are great knives, and if i had to choose, i'd have a tough time myself.
