WOW!!!
I was informed a while ago that I had won a custom knife (by Mr. Reitter) for being a Charter Member of kniferights.org.
I spoke to Mr. Reitter a few times, and I can not believe the amount of time he gave someone who he was giving a knife FOR FREE.
We spoke at length about everthing from this knife, to steels, to his AMAZING one-offs, to the industry in general. What a great guy.
Now, the knife. A Hornet Recurve. Fit and finish are aboslutely TOP NOTCH, up with that on some great customs I have seen going for 10X as much or more! The blade is a work of art, and came nicely shaving sharp...just the way I like 'em.
I can't even remember WHAT the name of the handle material was, but it is similar to the black and tan, but there is other color going on (*I am color blind)....but it is STUNNING.
If my good computer wasn't currently in the shitter, I would be able to post pics...I will do so as soon as I replace or fix it.
