spey blade

As I got older, I figured out if its sharp and ya take your time, just about any blade can be used for the task at hand. Made life much simpler but it took away the justification to buy more huntin knives :(

This is why I like single-bladed knives, although I can always justify buying another one!

Moore Maker now offers a trapper pattern with two identical long spay blades...kind of unusual.

Case used to make the slim trapper pattern (31048 and 61048) with a long spay master blade instead of a clip.

Gotta agree with ya on the well shaped pen blade.. good nuff design for penetratin , skinnin and detailed cape work. (For those that actually get animals large enough to have mounted :D)

OK, OK, Ha, Ha, Mike,.. Yea, I know our little Florida Whitetails don't measure up to your'n.. Not to mention your Caribou, Elk and whatever else you fellas got up yonder. But, we still make a mean mess-of-Venusian-vittles!.  :D :D

YEP.. We got lots of big critters out here:D.. As we've talked about before though, I'm more concerned about gettin the meat. The racks look cool but they usually don't eat as well...

I've got a lot of great pics, but heres a couple quick backyard pics...

Nice specimen of a desert Mulie.. I've got one hangin on the wall that's a little bigger than this one.

This is one of my favorite backyard pics. Not a big one yet, but I really like the pic. Seems to be more representative of what I usually see during hunting season :(

Good backyard pictures for sure.. :)

I wish you would leave a little feed and hay for that little last little guy there though. He looks a little hungry :(

Funny you mentioned that. That was one of the first times he came around.
We put out some alfalfa bales a couple day later, and theres an ol boy down the road that has a bunch of apple trees, he let us have all of them we wanted.. It didn't take him long to start filling out.
Like to have all the critters fat and happy, just like me :D

Fat & Happy! :D  Roger that partner! :)

Your welcome. I take for granted the fact that just about every day I can look outside and see deer in the back yard

Me too. I have about a dozen regular visitors daily (though admittedly smaller than those mulies). Get a good size buck every now and again as well.

Keeps my Weimaraner sharp. ;)

From the pics you've shown of your dog, she looks a lot more youthful than my lab lol.
She's 15 years and has more gray than black, and has gotten to the point in life where she just looks at them and goes about her business
