SPF 124 Turkish Walnut

Without the end cap it changes the look for the better in my opinion. It really has a unique grain pattern that I don't remember ever seeing before. Do you know why it has such dramatic dark swirls? Is it from minerals in the soil?

I'm not sure how, but that is a good guess. Likely this comes from closer to the base of the tree where more figure and minerals are found
