*SPF** 1997 SIGNED Sam McDowell Whale SCRIMSHAW KNIFE BRAND NEW and UNUSED. Blades are 2 5//8" (not 1 5/8") long. One of the finest detail scrimshaws produced by McDowell....Done at the peak of his career. Extensive file work on springs and spines of both blades. Brass liners. Engraved bolsters. Beautiful knife.....overall length is 3 1/2" closed.
