Greetings and salutations to all! Here’s a new Black River Hunter for your consideration, named after my favorite place on earth in eastern Arizona.

Steel is 5/32” x 1 1/2” in 8670 with professional HT at 60/61. Hand sanded to 1200 grit for a satin finish. The edge was less than .010” before sharpening, it balances behind the first pin and the swedge flares at the tip with a micro plunge for extra strength.

Dimensions: 10” OAL, Tip to Scales 5 3/8”

A beautiful Granadillo and Stabilized Japanese Privet handle is sculpted for a very comfortable fit. It’s sanded to 1200 grit with stainless pins and lanyard. Accented with G10 liners and spacers. The handle feels great in my average sized hand with room to spare. Your choice of blaze orange or mottled paracord is included for the lanyard.

Asking only $<SPF> to your US door, and of course your satisfaction is my only priority. Paypal (G&S Only please), check or MO, and the price includes fees and free shipping in the US. DO NOT mention knife, blade or similar in any payment descriptions, just leave it blank. The world is getting stupider by the day.

Thanks so much for looking and please feel free to ask anything here or via PM.

thanks guys, hey K Kerneldrop pretty simple really, I sharpen on a 220 belt, then 400. In this case it was one pass per side each since the edge before sharpening was<.010. That's usually my target for these, and .015 or so for more robust edges like choppers and such. After the belt I refine on hand held small diamond bars and finish on a real fine stone. This one's reeeal sharp. So if someone had to touch up the edge after hard use I'd say start with whatever is at hand and go as fine as you want. Almost all my edges go at about 20DPS.

Hi James, yes last October it went to Romania of all places, super nice guy too. I actually have another one on deck. Let me know if you are interested and I'll pick up some Granadillo I'm all out. It would be September though, vacations coming right up.
