My version of the iconic True Temper Vulcan felling axe....just finished this little model..approx. 1/8 scale, overall 4 1/2" long. The axe head is made from a hi-carbon steel casting, profiled, polished and etched - bevels and eye are spot on...shaft is hand-carved and gently fire-hardened white maple...NOTE: This has a micro-edge and may cut (watch kids).
