Hi everyone,
I have a couple of Swiss K31 rifles, 1949 and 1952 models. The '52 has a soldier tag under the butt plate, so I am keeping it. The 1949 is for sale. All numbers match, comes with the leather sling. The wood stock has plenty of dings/scratches as is usual for these rifles, but the metal is in very nice condition. The bore is bright and shiny with no counter boring as seen on so many Mosins.
Ammo is available at numerous online ammo dealers. The 7.5x55 Gp11 ammo (174 gr) is considered match quality and runs from $32-36 for a battle pack of 60 rounds, cheaper if you buy a crate (480 rounds). Hornady and Norma make 165 gr/180 gr hunting rounds.
The K31 is considered to be the most accurate of the WWII era bolt rifles. Very beautiful and precise machine work is evident throughout the rifle. This gun is all original.
$275 shipped to your FFL guy. If you are anywhere near Boise, ID we can do a ftf for $250.
