KEN ERICKSON 5 1/4 swell center hunter engraved by Nathan Dickinson

Sold pending funds $1275 shipped conus Paypal fees included

I made this knife up for the Blade Show in Atlanta this June and have always wanted one of my knives professionally engraved. While at Blade I met a very very talented young man named Nathan Dickinson. Nathan is an engraver of firearms and knives based out of Cadet Missouri. I was impressed with Nathans engraving skill but more so as a fine young man. I personally could not have asked for more from Nathan on this knife. Quality engraving with a great artistic flare! This is the first time photographing engraving and I believe the knife has a even better presence in hand. I especially had a hard time capturing the gold wire inlay in the shield. If more pictures are needed feel free to pm me and I will try for better shots of this knife. This knife would make a wonderful center piece to your slipjoint collection.

Now onto the knife. This is one of my large Cokebottles, swell center hunter, fiddleback single blade knives. A very nice quality set of stag compliments the overall look of the engraving. This knife features integral 416 frames/bolsters and premium CPM154cm blade and spring. You can say "I will take it" here, pm or email. Shipped priority insured in a protective zippered case.

Ken if I could post the D word here I would, cuz thats what came out of my mouth when I clicked on this post. Looks amazing and I am sure its even better in person.

Better then very nice! I too meet Nathan at Blade and his work is much like yours and many others here on the forums, a lot of effort goes into each piece and it will not be sold until YOU are happy with it.

Wow, Ken, that is incredible. One of the finest knives I've seen for sale here by any maker.

It was awesome before, Ken. Now even more so.

Thanks for the very kind comments on this knife. I will be sure to pass them on to Nathan. I was not sure what to expect as this was the first of my knives that I have had engraved. I think Nathan hit a home run with the style, coverage and quality.

Home run?

Looks to me like both of you smashed it out of the park. :)

Ove, i just came to this thread, This Knife ! I am So Tempted. Terrific Ken ! A Show Stopper to begin with and now much enhanced by the engraving. World Class Traditional Folder. We are so fortunate to have Ken as a BF member.
I've bought 4 or maybe it's 5, Customs in the last 2 weeks. Had i known this was coming i could have held back and Really Treated myself. And with justification too ! My 65th birthday is coming up.
Ken i think this is a "watershed" knife. You've upped the ante on your already very high standards. I see more finely made, beautifully engraved knives coming.
Congratulations.

Ken, your knives are always objects of desire and don't "need" any kind of "decoration" - but this is beautiful!
I love it how the lines of the stag and the engraving are flowing - wonderful :)

That is a "Pearl" for sure! That Stag is
banging!! Engraving is stunning... Big time!
