SPF!This is a Koster Monster Nessie, hot off the press after having been ordered on 3/21/10. Dan sent it to Heber (WildmanH) for me, so Heber could make a square-ended sheath for it. Both came in the mail today. It's all beautiful, but I need the funds for other projects now.
Specs:
1/4 inch thick 5160 steel
Overall = 13.75"
Blade = 8.25"
Handle = 5.5"
Grind is full flat down to about 0.040-0.050" at the edge
Heat-treat is aimed at 57-58 HRc
Handle is Cocobolo.
