SPF: N690 Hidden Tang

Steel: N690, tempered to 60 RC.

I bought the blade ready made from BF member and knifemaker Killrathi, then created the handle and sheath.

Handle: Natural hickory, stabilized birch, G10, Micarta (the guard is micarta), G-Flex epoxy, Stainless pin.

Sheath: Hermann Oak 7-8 oz. leather, treated with Sno-Seal.

Blade Length: 4 3/8"

Overall length: 8 7/8"

The front of the guard is not perfectly neat, but it does have a good seal where it meets the blade:
