Below pictured is a Phill Hartsfield Custom body-lock Folder. I have had the knife since 2004. I paid a princely sum for it, resulting in me never carrying it. I have a Cold Steel Emerson Folder, from back when Emerson was making blades for Cold Steel. So I carried it instead. My Hartsfield folder got a thorough cleaning and a re-lube job done every 4 months. I stored it in my gun safe with my "safe queen" rifles. It is in mint condition. I spoke with Phil Hartsfield last week, and he has not made any more of these folders for years and he doesn't foresee making any in the future. The body is brushed stainless steel, the blade is made from A2 Tool Steel, and Hartsfield has a unique hardening technique which focuses on the cutting edge (although the entire blade is heat treated). The pin holding the blade in is a titanium rod.

The blade is 3' long & 1/8" thick. The knife folded is 4 3/8", and the knife opened is 7 3/8".

I'm asking $750.00 + shipping (won't be much) & insurance if you want it. I'll have to contact the USPS to find out what the insurance on $750.00 would be and I'll be shipping Priority Mail in a flat rate box.

Nice folder, have one myself.

On a different note, you may have spoken with Phill, Jr....Phill, Sr., who made these knives, passed away years ago....FYI.
