Up for sale is my prized Potawatomi Plus in orange G10 from JK Handmade Knives.
A portion of the money for this sale will be sent to John to benefit his granddaughter, Hanna, who has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. $40 will be kept by me to cover shipping and to take my kids for ice cream.

I don't have the largest or most expesive knife collection, many have more costly and more famous knives, but I like this knife. I recently posted about my feelings on this knife here.
I'm selling it because there's a little girl who needs help, the family do not need my help to give it to her, but I want to try anyway. For anyone who does not know I lost my youngest son, Toby James William Patrick-Howard, to SIDs on the Saturday the 21st of August 2010. I can not imagine what Hanna's parents or her grandparents are going through, but I know that even at a time like this, things cost money, and bills don't go away. You all have done so much to help, I thought maybe I could do a little more.
Everyone here has been extremely generous and kind, and it's that spirit that makes me want to do something else. I've never been much good at saying the right thing or coming up with the right answer, but I do have this knife. And it is, I think, the best I've got.
Knife details -
JK Potawatomi plus, Used, growing natural Patina, 8 1/4 over all length, 3 Cutting edge (4" w/choil,) 1/8" thick, the toughest o1 steel I know with Orange G10 scales
Knife comes with a JK belt sheath.
The original knife was designed by forum member Jeff Shroup as the Potawatomi Slime Necker, JK "super sized" it for me based on my order. It is the only one of it's kind, although I'm sure if you asked JK would add another to his orders list (which would also be good.) It was the first designs that caught my eye.
I'm selling it for $185 $155 SPF shipped and insured. (Paypal gift, or + 3% please)

The other knife in the picture is the JK Toby's knife which I designed, JK made and even let it be named after my son in his line up. You do what you can, where you can, as someone once said.
