Russian made VEPR K in 7.62 x 39 that was imported by Robinson Arms from 1999-2002. This is the Cadillac of AKs and was built using a RPK squad machine gun receiver that is nearly twice as thick as a traditional stamped AK-47. With the extra thick receiver and a heavy barrel these are extremely accurate and smooth shooting. There will be no disappointments with this one--it only has 300 rounds through it at the most and is in excellent + condition. There is finish wear at the end of the charging handle thanks to Rob Arms not packaging the rifle properly.
Note: Unlike the recent imports that came with 10 rounds magazines and thumbhole stocks, this VEPR-K accepts all high cap AK magazines without any modifcations. Also, the lightened stock and ventilated hand guards were upgrades.
Included are three Hungarian Tanker magazines still in the wax paper and a Russian sling.
