living here in south Florida we always called them bannana spiders also because we always saw them in banana trees. they make a large web really cool looking

Well she disappeared as suddenly as she appeared. I was glad to have this thing around since the bugs have gotten ridiculous lately. I just hope nobody killed it, but the web is gone too which makes me think foul play is involved. Kind of worries me since it was in my back yard which is fenced in, so i'll be keeping an eye on the neighbors.
