When did Spiderco use this "punched-out" clip, and what was this knife called?

Hmmmm... that looks a little like my Standard, except it has a SS handle instead of G10. The shape of the handle looks the same, as does the blade, best I can tell. Maybe Spyderco at one time <u>made</u> a Standard with a SS handle, though. As for time fram, I haven't a clue.

Thats from way back, I believe. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will confirm.

That is definetly a C05S Standard.
They were discontinued in late 1996 or early 1997.

If the front scale has a sharp edge like the picture's back scale, it is a very early model.

I think I just bid on that knife a couple of weeks ago. Dang! I knew I wanted it!
