At first the new spiders and flies moving into Mirkwood did not seem so problematic...but one of the first things you learn about Mirkwood is that things are not always as they appear...

They are just there to deter would be predators from attacking it from behind. They may poke but they don't sting. Yeah, that tree always makes me smile
