Spike Hawk W/Filework

I forged this hawk from a 16 oz. ball pein,filework on the front edge,finish is Plum Brown the haft is a pretty nice curly Maple---Specs--17 3/8" OAL--top of spike to edge is 7 1/4"--Blade width is 2 1/4"180.00 inc. mailing and fees,Paypal preferred @ bjsilver1126@yahoo.com Thanks for checking it out--Happy Holidays--Butch--first I'll take it

Damn Butch, your hawks are most impressive. Very nice touch on this one with the plum brown.....I like that a lot! :thumbup:

Thanks Bruce,I really like the Plum Brown,it gives a very rich patina,and easier then my old method---I also found if you use regular cold blue and heat the metal the same way it gives a nice grey finish,always trying something new----Have a great Holiday ---Butch

No doubt a very rich patina that really compliments that curly maple haft.
Kinda like a nice fixed blade & leather sheath. :D
