Spike-horn stag handle problem

Just got a customer wanting a couple usable custom hunting knives made from little spike-horns off a whitetail he bagged. The girth is so small that the knives would be very small if I made them proportional.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have a couple ideas. First: I could make a full tang blade and just use a piece at the narrow point of the handle. Second: I could do the same full tang and wooden scales and put oval stag inlays in them (this would require some experimenting). I have only three inches from base to the first tine. They are actually forked (both sides).

Thanks

Seeing the horn would be helpful, but with that said, cut the tines and affix an escutcheon to the tine relief for engraving. If the curvature is to much, cut it below the tine and add material for a narrow tang handle. Or... cut a channel down the middle, and make crown stag folders.

Thank you. I am a novice and not a bright one at that. So I understood very little of your reply. Then I went to bed and woke up at 0330 and realized what you meant.

Thank you.
